The diversity of the collection, the originality of wine-blending, the vibrant aromas, all have been thought of as having as reference the tastes and expectations of those who now wish to discover the authentic Romanian values reinterpreted in modern style.

From the very first tasting you will understand why this selection is called Herb.

* Herb is the old Romanian name for coat of arms or noble blood, and also Herb is defined by the Oxford dictionary as the generic word for aromatic plants.

BUSUIOACĂ DE BOHOTIN dry – HERB

Wine Type Dry Rose
Area Domeniile Averești – Huși Vineyard
Vine – Grapes The grapes were carefully harvested manually at a minimum sugar content of 195g / l, then grapes removed from the grape cluster without crushing. The grapes were cooled to a temperature of 10 ° C and then press macerated for 6-8 hours.
Wine – making Maceration for 6 hours in cold presses at 8-10 ° C temp, under inert gas protection. The resulting free run grape juice is gravitationally clarified at a temperature of 12 ° C for 32 hours. Fermentation takes place in stainless steel tanks for 20 days at a temperature of 12-14 ° C.
Tasting notes Well-matured basil aromas and aerial rose accents. The taste is a balance between the notes of rose and grapefruit, which make up the sensation of freshness of the wine. The long finish, pleasant with sweet red fruit sensations.
Best served Chilled at 10 – 12 ° C, along with seafood, fish.

Vine – Grapes The grapes were carefully harvested manually at a minimum sugar content of 195g / l, then grapes removed from the grape cluster without crushing. The grapes were cooled to a temperature of 10 ° C and then press macerated for 6-8 hours.
Wine – making Maceration was done in tanks for 12 hours at 10 ° C for Muscat Ottonel variety and for 6 hours in 12 ° C presses for Sauvignon Blanc. The clarification of the grape juice was done gravitationally for 36 hours at 11 ° C.
Tasting notes A wine with a special freshness, specific to the Averesti microclimate, where the musk notes blend harmoniously with those of black currant. The taste is ample, slightly crisp, with a medium-long citric finish, but sufficiently flavoured to create a suave cooling sensation of the palate.
Best served Chilled at 10 – 12 ° C with seafood, white sauce pasta, risotto.

Vine – Grapes The grapes were carefully harvested manually at a minimum sugar content of 195g / l, then grapes removed from the grape cluster without crushing. The grapes were cooled to a temperature of 10 ° C and then press macerated for 6-8 hours.
Wine – making Maceration was performed for 10 hours at 12 ° C for the Tamaioasa Romaneasca variety and for 6 hours for Sauvignon Blanc. The settlement of the grape juice was done gravitationally at 11 ° C for 36 hours. Fermentation takes place at 11 ° C in stainless steel tanks.
Tasting notes Fresh wine with elderflower aromas and light floral tinges. The taste contains notes of walnuts and poly-floral honey, slightly sweet, well-balanced by the pleasant acidity that give this wine a special character.
Best served Chilled at 10 – 12 ° C, along with salmon, clams or sorbet.

FETEASCĂ NEAGRĂ + BUSUIOACĂ DE BOHOTIN – HERB

Vine – Grapes The grapes were carefully harvested manually at a minimum sugar content of 195g / l, then grapes removed from the grape cluster without crushing. The grapes were cooled to a temperature of 10 ° C and then press macerated for 6-8 hours.
Wine – making Macerating the Busuioaca de Bohotin variety was done in rotating tanks for 24 hours at 8 ° C. Maceration – fermentation of Black Feteasca grapes was done in macerators at 21 ° C for 10 days, with a slight decrease in temperature at first, and then a slight increase in temperature to the end.
Tasting notes Fresh wine with explosive berries and cream notes, filled with red fruit and fine tones of earth and truffles. Full, cheerful, rustic taste ranging from fresh fruit to jam tones. Finely fruity, well punctuated by the pleasant acidity.
Best served Served slightly chilled at 12-14 C, along with beef or pork.
